Dylan is obsessed with pirates. And he says "Arrggh!" with such authority. He was a pirate for Halloween (those pics coming soon), but he's still wearing parts of the costume.

He wore the eye patch for almost 2 hours. I was beginning to worry that he liked it a little too much.

Even Marina is in on the action!

And then there's this photo of my aunt and uncle, Julie & Dale, and Bryan and me from a few weeks ago. Don't ask.

Moral of the story: Pirate costumes are good fun for the whole family.

20 years ago ....

My father passed away 20 years ago today. It's really hard for me to imagine that so much time has gone by. Sometimes it seems like just yesterday and sometimes I can hardly remember at all. What I do know is that my dad was always happy and wanted to make other people happy. So, please take a moment today to remember him and all of your loved ones. And do something to make someone happy.

Also, please take a few minutes today to think about my dear friend Renee. She lost her beautiful son, Quinlan, one year ago today. I hold a very special place for them in my heart. Love you Nay Nay.

Wow. I'm such a rookie mom. You'd think that since I'm a slightly older mom I would figure some things out, but I haven't. Yet.

So even in preschool they have school pictures. And fundraisers. Who knew??
